In 2025, Co-Founders Paul Burgess and Dr. Khanh Tran shared a vision. Both had witnessed the power of a self-directed learning environment and imagined what it could become with expertly trained, skilled educators who embodied certain skills; Skills necessary to hold space for children to be authentic, free, and able to grow into thriving adults.

Driven by a commitment to science and child development, they began the thoughtful work of designing an intentional space—one that would do more than support optimal growth in children. It would become a true learning community: a place where everyone involved could grow, transform, and evolve together.

With the support and expertise of Dr. Vivianne Tran, they are now excited to bring this vision to the Sheridan community—a collective of life-long learners, walking alongside one another on the journey of self-actualization.
